Health and Wellness    There are very few people who don’t have some level of clutter in their life.  Whether clutter is in the mind or heart it is often reflected by an external pile of precious possessions. And, its presence can represent a barrier toward an easy life flow. A good way to determine exactly how much clutter exists internally is by looking around at how much clutter is in the home, office, desk, car, closet and drawers. When examining more closely the items hoarded, the disorganization kept, and the mounds of stuff that have become so personally revered a parallel can be drawn as to how one holds onto thoughts and beliefs, the people they love and hate, as well as the disappointments and successes experienced.  It does not matter whether a lot or a little bit of internal energies, as reflected by external conditions exist or not. And, it is not to say that all of the stuff reflecting internal energies held onto is negative.  It is simply an awareness of old thoughts, beliefs, and feelings that don’t make room, in the present moment, for new energies to be experienced. What happens with clutter is growth becomes stifled, the simplest of tasks become difficult, creativity becomes stagnant and desires are unmet, all causing struggled hardships when navigating through life.

Mind and Heart Hold Clutter

Unknowingly, the subconscious mind holds onto every experience ever had. It knows everything heard, seen, smelled, touched, imagined, tasted and felt. So imagine your age; now multiply that by at least one hundred thousand, as a conservative number of the experiences absorbed within a year. Every experience can be associated as an item such as a box, a piece of paper, a collectable, a bobble, something needed, something required, something desired, and on and on, whether it is positive and useful or not.  Throughout a person’s entire life the mind has stored so much information until if a snap shot was taken of it, I venture to guess it would resemble the picture above. Nevertheless, the mind is only one part of an individual’s space that holds onto clutter. The heart equally stores data of love given, love taken away, fearful encounters and enlightening events. Multiply your age by ten thousand of these emotional experiences and add them to the number of stored mental items. It doesn’t take a math whiz to begin calculating the extreme clutter that remains housed within one’s psyche and emotional center.

The Soul is a Receptacle

Unlike the heart and mind, the soul does not collect and hold onto cluttered thoughts, beliefs, feelings and emotions in the same way. The soul becomes cluttered with the overall totality of the heart and mind consciousness. The soul is like a giant receptacle which houses the lessons important to learn during the present life experience.  Once, the physical body is shed the soul or light body quickly eliminates the conscious of that life, ready to move forward into a more expanded consciousness where connection with Divine Source is obtained without obstacles.

Being able to unclutter the mind and heart will allow the soul to sore more freely.  It is at this point where the experience of separation from God is gone and the expansiveness of being one with everything allows for the soul to effortlessly expand while still having an in the body human experience. The expansion of the soul is what ultimately allows the fluidity of every experience to flow into place, where easiness of living makes life so pleasurable.

5 Ways to Unclutter Your Heart, Mind and Soul

So, what are some of the ways the mind and heart can become uncluttered allowing for a more easy life flow?  Well, here are 5 Ways to Unclutter Your Heart, Mind and Soul.

1.      Observation ~ This is the first step toward the process of uncluttering. You could throw all of the internal clutter away by wiping out every thought, belief and emotion you have; but if you did you would become reprogrammed with other thoughts, emotions and feelings that would eventually constitute some form of clutter. In actuality there are some beliefs, thoughts, feelings and emotions important for you to keep as a signature of your personality and as a way of learning the important lessons for consciousness expansion, allowing for an easier life.  Therefore, observation is important to begin discerning what to keep and what to clear.

·     Watch What You Think ~ When you watch what you think you are paying consistent attention to the random collection of ideas, ramblings, judgments, criticisms and other thoughts that become present. When you do, what you will find is a vast collection of negative thoughts that feed belief systems established between the ages of birth up to 8 years old.  And Yep…your life for the most part, has been dictated by the beliefs of a child who was too young to know what would be best for you as an adult. By watching what you think the adult you can begin to take charge of your life now.

·         Pay Attention to What You Say ~ Every word out of your mouth is a payer for or against you.  In other words [no pun intended], what you say lifts you up or tears you down. As you pay attention to what you say, you’ll discover much of your conversation may not be as uplifting and healing as you believed. Those words, phrases and sentences support what you think being the catalyst for any action you take which can make your life effortless or hard.

·       Examine What You Feel ~ In many societies, what you feel is not considered important. But what you feel has great significance as far as how you hold onto cluttered energy and how the same or like energy is attracted to you. Your heart emits an electro-magnetic impulse that is five times more powerful than the mind. It’s important to examine what you feel because as you begin to clear the clutter from your mind and heart you’ll want to make sure your feelings are in alignment with a clearer, more free way of being. Wouldn’t you like to attract experiences that make life easier?

2.    Journal Writing~ Once you become aware of what has been unconscious to you, it’s important to write downwhat you observe. With each stroke of the pen you etch deeper into your awareness the reality of the type of clutter you keep, how old it really is and how limiting it is toward your full ability to experience the connection with universal consciousness. By writing down your observations it is impossible to “forget” any Ah Ha moments ready to be processed and cleared.

3.    Questioning Your Observations~ Next is the process of questioning what you’ve observed and written down. What this means is asking questions such as, “Why am I thinking this?” “What experience does it emanate from?” “What is the feeling associated with this thought, belief or emotion?”  There are many questions you can begin asking to move into the core of the clutter. Once you are in the core you’re ready for a plan of action to rid yourself of the clutter.

4.    Plan of Action~ A plan of action is a road map directing you toward the exact steps you will take to specifically unclutter your heart and mind.  The  clearing or releasing techniques when done in this order is very effective. Below are suggested tools however, if you have other specific tools to help you release clutter…go for it!

·      Vigorous Exercise, anywhere, for 30 minutes and/or screaming, as loud as possible, while at the beach. Seawater at the beach absorbs negative energy and purifies your heart, mind and soul.

·     Meditation of any type designed to specifically clear away cluttered energy. This should be done on a daily basis.  If you don’t have your own meditation, here is one you can download: http://bit.ly/10zbKKe

·         Clean Up the External Clutter around you in your personal and work space.

5.    Plan Implementation~ Plan Implementation is a very obvious step, yet it’s necessary to include. As easy as it may seem in the entire uncluttering process, to work any plan can be the most difficult. This is the step where you must consistently put into action what you have committed to doing. It is part of the process which must be diligently worked to make any real changes. This is where you finally experience the results of uncluttering your heart, mind and soul.

As you work this five step plan know that it may take some time before you see the results you are after.  It does not have to a long time, so don’t get stuck believing it will.  Simply know that in any venture such as this it is a process, which in order to reach your goal you must see all the way through.
