Life is filled with peaks and valleys where opportunities are always presented and challenges float to the surface like dirt particles in clear water. As you continue to live and thrive in many ways, it’s the personal challenges which actually teach you how to become a better version of yourself. Uncomfortable as they may seem, without these challenges you would not grow, mature and move into being your best divine self. Often challenges are seen as forms of failure…the failure of good health, the failure of financial abundance, the failure of loving relationships or the failure of accomplishing heart’s desire. But, the perspective of those who are very successful is that failure is not defeat; it actually isn’t even failure. What’s considered to be failure is, in reality, part of the process of being successful. Therefore, failure does not define you, nor does it define what you are striving for. This is the foundation for resolving all personal challenges.
Regardless of how difficult challenges may be they are not “failure”, only current opportunities offering themselves throughout your personal life development. How you perceive and manage issues are the keys to how easily and effortlessly you resolve all personal challenges you face; today and tomorrow. Having a basic blueprint can be helpful in remembering to stay calm and be relaxed through any problem solving process. Here are 5 keys to resolve personal challenges:
KNOW WHO YOU ARE
You are a Divine Being who has both a body/physical personality and a spiritual personality. Both personalities have characteristics which define who you are. On a body personality level you may be kind, loving, stubborn, witty, humorous, passive aggressive, competitive, etc. On a spirit personality level you may be someone who effortlessly flows through challenges, is easy going, a leader, services people, kind, caring, decisive, etc. Some of the characteristics for both are so similar therefore it can be difficult to discern which is the body personality and which is the spirit personality.
Regardless of whether you have clarity as to which one is which for you, what’s important is that you learn to truly know who you are. For example; you may like and enjoy children but in knowing yourself you may not desire to have any children. People around you may encourage you to consider having children because children are such a joy yet you know in complete certainty it is not part of your path for this life’s journey. Knowing yourself that well and honoring you is the first key to ensuring the process of resolving challenges.
When you clearly know yourself you are clear about your values and you follow them. Be aware of knowing yourself deeply by posing self-reflecting questions. Know your intrinsic values which are the internal values you hold in ever decision you make. And, never compromise your values it compromises yourself and the decisions you make. Getting to know who you are involves:
Answering these self-reflecting questions…
1. How would you describe the type of person you are?
2. What are your characteristics?
3. What do you know you’d do during a crises or when an issue comes up
4. How do you think?
5. What do you believe?
6. What feelings do you experience most?
Being aware of your intrinsic values – These are the most significant values you hold internally. Intrinsic values are the foundation which helps you build strength to learn life lessons. Some of the intrinsic values you might have are: adventurousness, cautiousness, being a free spirit, security, and so on…
Stay true to yourself and your values – Never compromise who you are based on your intrinsic values. They are part of what makes you the unique human being you are. So follow your internal senses and continue to be self-directed toward resolving your challenges.
CONNECT WITH YOUR HEART
Open up to love, emanating from your heart – real love is Divine Love; it surpasses having any conditions associated with why, how or when you love anyone or anything. It has no boundaries or justice system. Love, simply is!
Release the fear of being vulnerable – the fear of being vulnerable is the one primary aspect of shutting down any form of love. It closes you off and causes nothing more than a jaded consciousness that’s always on alert; non-trusting and even shut down. Connecting with your heart when it’s closed is an oxymoron you cannot afford to live by; it does not support resolve – it only dampens it.
Listen to what your heart tells you – Your heart is always right! It can be in complete opposite with what your head says is the right thing to do. But the beauty of your heart is that is always tells the truth because it KNOWS the truth. Listening to your heart comes from your intrinsic values and the essence of your Divine-Self, not listening to it creates more challenges than resolves.
BE TRUE TO YOURSELF
Follow your personal truth – In actuality there is only one truth, everything, including you is made up of energy a substance which is love – the highest power. It creates, destroys, heals and expands the essence of love. When following your personal truth you follow what is true for you based on what you believe, what your mind is certain to work and the experiences that have told you a certain direction is the way to go. By following your personal truth you are that much closer to resolving the challenges before you.
Stay focused on your path – Your path is the way you have chosen to live your life allowing you to learn the lessons significant for your personal growth as a spirit. The experiences you have, the beliefs you hold, the process in which you make decisions and solve problems are all part of your path. Even if you are not sure what your path is, if you listen to your heart you will be on your path and that’s worth staying focused on.
BE DECISIVE
Make a clear decision – When you make a decision about anything the best thing you can do is stick to it. You may go through the process of weighing the pros and cons. Perhaps you ‘feel’ what is the best thing to do or you may be a person who just knows what the right move is in solving a challenge. No matter what your process is, just be clear about the fact it is the right action for you, specifically, to take.
Release the internal blocks keeping you in confusion – Sometimes when making a decision your mind moves in several different directions, either at once or by skipping around like changing television channels with the remote. These conditions are caused by internal blocks such as anxiety, anger, lack of self-confidence, depression, pain, and any number of other conditions. Releasing these types of energies which restrict clear thinking, emotional ease and your basic instincts emanating from the heart keeps confusion at bay. It’s the internal blocks that can be the trickiest as your ego tells you nothing stands in the way of your desires; all the while the ego creates more confusion and uncertainty as to what direction to go in except for the direction it influences you to take.
Let go of the external influences holding you back from what you know – It’s amazing how much input other’s share in reference to your life! Solicited or not meaningful friends and family share things like; “Is that the color you’re going to paint your house? Hmmm….if it were me I’d paint it this color.” Or, it’s not uncommon to hear, “I think it would be better if you did this instead of that.” The external influences are endless but it’s up to you to discern what is being shared. The decisions you make to resolve your own situations are for you to make from the core of your being.
TAKE ACTION
There are two ways to take literal action in resolving challenges. They are:
Energetically – This involves shifting energy toward achieving the desired end goal – solving the challenge. Energy is always changing. But when you consciously move energy for problem solving and end result goals you are tapping into the power of your creative self. Some of the ways energy can be shifted is: through prayer, meditation, and self-development processes such as visualization, hypnosis, rebirthing, journal writing, therapy, inner child-work and so on.
Physically – Taking physical action is exactly what it means – doing what is required physically to resolve the problem. There are many, many things you can do which are appropriate for the situation. Calling, driving or any form of travel to a destination will work. Researching, meeting interactions and writing down plans are also ways physical action is taken to accomplish a desired end. No matter what type of physical action is taken once you know Who You Are; Connect With Your Heart; Be True to Yourself; can Be Decisive; and Take Action Energetically you will be able to resolve any challenge facing you.
