It’s no secret that Mother Earth has her seasons. You notice the blossoming of flowers with nature awakening and the animals rejuvenated in spring. You can see the accelerated growth of children, projects and vigorous living in summer. In fall the preparation of sleep begins as leaves fall from the limbs that support them. It’s the time to gather food, supplies and your energy before everything comes to a halt, at least as it appears…..in winter. Winter is the period of sleep, a time of death where deep within all life force energy is shifting – actually re-sparking and regenerating until the signal to wake up is given and there you have spring once again. As Mother Nature changes seasons, so do you. From birth date to birth date you go through a process of four seasons as well. On your actual birth date springs begins where new ideas take hold, percolate and begin to form into physical matter as you start implementing those ideas. This is also a time of questioning like: what’s important to you? What direction is your life going in? What changes are needed to be made or what material, emotional, mental energies are to be given up? Then summer comes and brings about the further development of those ideas as they grow bigger and stronger. The ideas of what you’re giving up in order to have something different; connecting more to the things that are really important to you; and moving into a new direction is also part of the summer season between birthdays. By fall, you’re reaping the benefits of what you’ve grown and expansion continues. It’s also, when you reflect upon the way your life has unfolded over the past months and in this assessment you start making decisions as to what works, what doesn’t and what you’re going to do about it. In the winter cycle, also known as the death cycle, everything slows down and starts to go to sleep. For you, it’s a time to shed rather than start new things. It’s a time to purge yourself of everything you desire to let go of ~ old clothes, junk drawer stuff, a car, relationship, job, whatever it is. It’s also a time to reduce eating, drinking and other habits. Listen to your body, listen to your inner voice for guidance; it’s directing you to “clean your house” so that you may start new again in spring.
I am currently in my winter cycle with my birthday at the end of this month. The winter cycle is usually 52 days before your birthday and during this time of my death cycle I am purging, clearing, and shutting down. I’m purging my family ancestry of secrets, abuses and shameful, blameful things. I’m clearing my own illusions of being separated and excluded from God, humanity and myself. All I desire to do in this period of time is stay locked away in my room, meditating, praying, listening to, reading and watching DVD’s of inspirational / spiritual material. Realistically, I cannot do this and nothing else for the entire month. But to create the space for this as much as possible is the best way to love myself and follow the signs of the season. On my birthday I will be renewed, with great ideas, the possibility of positive change and bringing forward the depths of understanding, practice and actualization of Universal Laws in such ways as to present them to you, through the process of truths that will continue to create miracles in my life and yours.
So, what cycle are you currently in? Are you following the natural way of Mother Nature? Are you living life with the full meaning of your purpose – the purpose of playing your part which assists the whole of humanity; one person or one group at a time? Tune in to your current cycle – let your inner voice guide you. Then allow me to be your support from where you are now to those first steps where your true purpose begins.
