When I was first introduced to the concept of having a coach I thought about basketball coaches, football coaches, and other athletic coaches because that’s all I understood. But a life coach? What is that? They help coach you through life, as if you don’t know how to live your life already. Really? Well, it just didn’t resonate with me. But the idea of having a mentor, well, that was something different. Or is it really?
In actuality there is a difference between the two and they both have their place. A coach is someone who helps you navigate through life one area or issue at a time until balance and harmony in all areas of life are reached. And a mentor shows you what s/he has done and the process by which to solve and resolve issues. They are slightly different approaches to working on the same aspects of life. Now, there are coaches who specialize in specific areas such as finance, career, health, relationships and family. And mentors who also specialize in those areas and more.A very wise and extremely wealthy person once told me that in order to succeed in life it’s important to have a mentor for everything. That if you want to become physically fit hire a fitness mentor, if you want to have a successful relationship hire a relationship mentor (he did that when dating his girlfriend and every step of the way the mentor assisted him in winning her over until she became his wife) if you want to become wealthy hire a successful finance / career mentor, if you want to become truly happy in life by living your purpose, hire a spiritual mentor who will take you through the process of becoming more aware {of you}.
Mentoring is the way to go to be successful in every area of your life. But personally, having a spiritual mentor trumps everything else. This is because a spiritual mentor will walk you through connecting with your subconscious beliefs and then show you how to clear what doesn’t work. A spiritual mentor will guide you through your emotions and show you how to clear them as well. A spiritual mentor will take into the deepest journey into your soul to walk with you out of it into your highest healing of empowerment, enlightenment and ascension. A spiritual mentor will take you into the realms of metaphysics and creation itself. A spiritual mentor will take you from hell into heaven. I refer to this literally as meaning going from relationship hell, financial hell, lack of love hell, not having or being enough hell, struggling hell, fear/worry/doubt hell and more hell, into all expressions of joy, love and peace in the present and future.
If you are aware that you are living in some type of hell disguised as unresolved issues, emotional upheaval or mental distress then you are now aware that you’re in need of a spiritual mentor. Ultimately the journey is one that is not always the most comfortable but then many things worthwhile and that your life depends on is not within your comfort zone. It’s those aspects within your comfort zone that have brought you to where you are now. So, enroll a spiritual mentor into your life immediately! There’s no time to loose as the planet is speeding up at warp speed, and it’s important to be in alignment {body, mind, soul, emotions} before she stabilizes at the end of 2012.
