Emotional Care – Tapping to Release Resistance
Resistance is something everyone has with one thing or other; in one way or another. When you are in tuned to universal flow many blessing befall you. You are able to be more present and receive what is for you, which often times is more glorious than what you could have imaged for yourself. Resistance actually blocks those blessings, not allowing you to easily flow through life. Resistance brings about struggle and hardship. Think of it is as you fighting against yourself.
Tapping is a way of releasing the resistance to whatever you are fighting against and allowing the full easy, divine flow of you as one with the universe to accomplish your goals and desires. By following the process below of how you can release the emotional attachment to resistance you will welcome the smooth path of acceptance and flow.
Follow These Steps as Demonstrated in the Video Below:
- Identify the Intensity of the Resistance to_____ from 0 -10
- 0 = no resistance at all
- 10 = high level of resistance; almost point of anxiety
- Establish what the issue is with a phrase:
- “Even though I have resistance to ______; I deeply and completely accept myself”
- Say the Reminding Points Phrase while tapping other points: “Resistance to___”
Tapping Points:

- Karate Chop area of hand (side of hand)
- Top of the Head
- Beginning of Eyebrow (right or left) closest to where the eyebrows meet
- Outside of the Eye (on the brow bone)
- Directly underneath the Eye
- Under the Nose
- Above the Chin, Below the Bottom Lip
- The Collar Bone (closest to the soft spot at the base of throat)
- Under the Arm
- Check in again; how resistant you are on a scale of 0 -10?
- If the resistance is above 3 continue to do this exercise until it has decreased to a 3 or lower.
